The plug in your Zune Player via a USB Cable and the Zune Software will automatically search for music that is saved on your PC. If you have set your Zune to sync automatically it will copy all the music on your PC by itself!
The second way to download music on your iPod involves you downloading music from one of the many different iPod download sites that the Internet has to offer.
Then in the early 80’s digital technology began its evolution. First in the Compact Disk - a smaller, lighter version that although looked a similar disk shape to the old LP’s used a very different technology. Instead of relying on direct contact to produce a sound - i.e. needle on the surface of the record, the new CD’s did not actually have a direct surface contact. The reader scanned over the surface of the disk with the lazer picking up the data. Improvement in CD’s included the blue light lazer - which having a smaller light wave means more data on the disk and a dual layer meant that in a very short space of time the data potential of the CD went from slightly more than an LP to being huge - holding a huge movie and more on one DVD.

There are a few reputable MP3 download sites on the internet you can trust. The most famous of all is itunes from Apple. Napster has a subscription service per month that allows you to download more than two million mp3 legally. Technically, you do not own the mp3 so do not give, sell or upload to file sharing networks. For more information on where you can find more free legal mp3, you can visit my blog.
There are also some sites that allow you to download songs without charging any fee. It is to be noted, however, that the best things in life come at a price and so free songs are usually ones that are discards, less popular or ones that don’t find many takers even for free. It is possible also to subscribe to a site and get all the songs you desire for one flat fee. The catch here is that songs are for a temporary period and on rent. They are not permanent downloads, so once your subscription ceases, the facility to play the songs would automatically be disabled. This takes place due to subscription plans being encoded aided by the digital rights management technology and this clause is mentioned in your subscription agreement.
